Motorcycle Accident Recorded Statement
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]I recently received a phone call from a client who was injured while riding his motorcycle in the Buffalo, New York area. The insurance company contacted him and wanted him to give a recorded statement, and he wanted to know if that was okay. We told him absolutely not. We never advise our clients to give a recorded statement to the insurance company.
The insurance company has adjusters who are specially trained to elicit information that is beneficial to the insured or the insurance company, but not necessarily to our clients. Their goal is to minimize the amount of monies paid out on any claim.
If you’ve been injured in a motorcycle accident and have any questions about whether you should give a recorded statement to an insurance company, please
call my office to schedule a free consultation.
